Who we are
DigitX is a software company from Wijchen, the Netherlands. We build our own software products and selectively take on client projects — always held to the same standard.
Patrick Gerrits started out as an e-commerce entrepreneur in 2008. His webshop was voted best webshop in the Netherlands twice. In the years that followed, he worked as a Solution Architect at companies like NS, TenneT, and Proud Nerds. That combination — building your own products and designing enterprise systems — is the foundation of DigitX.
In 2021, Patrick founded DigitX B.V. Floynk, the first product, grew into a platform with over 75 active sellers. EnvManager followed as a solution to a problem every developer knows. Beyond that, we build plugins, apps, websites, and e-commerce solutions — for ourselves and for a select group of clients.

Patrick Gerrits
Owner, Software Architect & Lead Developer
Patrick is the technical driving force behind DigitX. With over 15 years of experience in software development, he combines the speed of a startup founder with the architectural thinking of an enterprise architect.
His background is broad: from building and running an award-winning webshop, to designing large-scale systems at Dutch organizations like NS and TenneT. At DigitX, he channels that experience into software products that are scalable, secure, and usable from day one.
Patrick writes code daily, designs system architecture, and steers the technical direction of all DigitX products.

A small team that covers everything
Alongside Patrick, the DigitX team consists of four senior specialists who work part-time. Every discipline needed to successfully build and grow a software product is represented on the team.
Project Management
Keeping the overview, managing timelines, and making sure features ship on time and in the right order.
Design
Designing user interfaces that are intuitive and professional. From wireframe to pixel-perfect design.
Marketing
Positioning products, creating content, and setting up growth channels. From SEO to product marketing.
Development
Writing code, building features, fixing bugs. Hands-on developers who know how to build scalable software.
